Project 10 Billion

I have not posted on this site for a while. Here are other places where I have been/am writing;

1)  TVO “The Agenda” on their forums. I am on there as “Project 10 Billion”.

2) Newsvine,  Again as “Project 10 Billion” or G. Derome.  A very strong U.S. influence/membership base.

3) Toronto Star, guess! Right, “Project 10 Billion” (only one entry so far as they limit their comments and I never seem to catch it close enough to the beginning or as they screen all comments and it may be that they know me and restrict what I can comment on (may be far fetched but possible). 

I have a back up of articles from past newspaper clippings as well as recent ones. I probably could have a separete entry for every one but I’ll just add them on here.

 

January 26, 2009  in Metroa Toronto Free daily.  Ecozone page 18

An article by David Suzuki (At odds with conservation). It talks about the Ontario governments pondering to allow expanding the list of animals that could be hunted. They are considering adding smaller animals like skunks, foxes, weasels, groundhogs, porcupines, raccoons and others including some birds and turtles. As an article summary David wrote “We need to act in a precautionary way now to minimize our actions that affect the ability of species to survive and evolve”.

I wrote something quite similar a few years ago on my TIG or my MSN self-discussion sites. It may be saved somewhere, possibly one day printed. It went further as I was writing  about our caged and/or domesticated animals like cattle, hogs and chickens. I am not saying that he stole my idea but of course he is taking credit for it.

Barker urges elephant to be moved from zoo.

I agree with the article that the elephant should be moved from Edmonton Alberta (Canada) to an elephant sanctuary. She has been alone since September 2007.

One of my thoughts for a projects is to attempt to connect various elephants around the world via the Internet (Sound, sight). That would at least allow all those that are alone around the world to at least communicate with each other. There are two major types of elephants and possibly hundreds of dialects but if we concentrate on the newborns or younger ones then in a few years we would do these intelligent creates a great service.

 

February 26, 2009  Metro  Big melt in Antarctica

Only ignorant and/or blind and/or selfish/greedy people think that Global warming is not happening! The Pine Island Glacier and the Smith Glacier are losing around 103 billion tons of ice per year.

This is a serious concern to all life on this planet but not a priority with Governments as ‘Economies” are more important. 

Stupid people!

 

March 14, 2009  Saturday Star 1) ’Nannies trapped in bogus jobs”

Legal human trafficking by the wealthy who do not raise their children or wash their own toilets! Legal approved by Govs. “Masters and Slaves”.

2) First 50 days, “Obama”.

He could only somewhat question the free markets wrongly evolved unjust and unfair ways of distribution of wealth when the Government have a stake in it. Like the financial institutions and auto industry top guns rewards. I rate him 7.8 out of 10 so far! 

 

March 16, 2009  Metro 1) Water shortage looms!

“Water is not enough of a political issue” 2) ’Trees alone won’t save us”  3) Chemicals killing fish. Businesses hunger for wealth by the self regulated tested petro-chemical and pharmaceutical industries is killing all kinds of wildlife. 4) Nuclear power a concern: Greenpeace. Keeping business and the “have” happy with abundant amounts of resources to waste and abuse requires new power sources like Nuclear.

 ”Distribution of Wealth” also ignored is causing our other WARS. Our unchecked liberal consumptions will do us in along with many other species.

Experts: Ontario could be agriculture leader. I’ve known that for a long time but building large houses, roads and highways, large parking lots and created places of work and play is more important!

March 22, 2009  24 hour, Ontario flags made in China!

1) What else is new, we even have fresh vegetables grown in China on our Toronto store shelves! This is why we have to expand our west coast sea ports, so that China could provide us with everything we need. Free Market, in the works. A few hundred thousand making millions and the majority here loosing their jobs.

2) Tobacco farmers cashing in or out?  As some care about the health of the populace tobacco consumption is (not fast enough) dropping. Farmers are able to get financial help from the federal government because of dwindling sales but could also keep on growing the product even  after getting that federal help.

March 24, 2009  Metro;  1) Barbie as a role model.

Some argue that it is or could be a valuable sex educational tool! I wonder about that. Another side of the coin is if a girl does not grow up and out like the doll that she will not be successful in life! Where are the larger, shorter, poor (clothes not in fashion, used old), not as perfect ones? It is, the article, found in the Health & Beauty section. Outside beauty only maybe.

2) Certified organic? Same section an article about Makeup. Natural is the only way,no MAKE UP AT ALL!  No girl should ever need any (or pluck shave or wax their hairs or get anypiercings, tattoos) except maybe when on stage. Movie stars or models for photo shoots or filming do not need any either as photo technology can fix/change/adjust anything.

3) Continuing education.  Sow seeds of knowledge!  They are talking about a gardening course. I tried to sow my seeds of knowledge via my blogs, this site and even a paid articles. I should scan and put them on this site somewhere.

4) Education;  Schools focus on sustainability! We have been taught all of our lives what to and not to do yet because of the word “economy”, keeping the pyramids of wealth and power as is we are not allowed to implement any real needed changes. Same bullshit repeated. These kids will grow up and will not be able to challenge the way things are just as past and present generations prisons.

5)  Mayor seeks wage freeze. City workers (Toronto) asked to give up pay increases this year. Now, May 27, 2009 the city has just hired a CEO for a new department at over $170,000 per year as well as having over 60,000 people depending on food banks.  Take from the poor to give to the rich!

6) Dispute over farm-union ban taken to UN group.  Farm workers in Ontario are not allowed to unionize even those working/jobs that are year round like Mushroom workers. Protect the wealthy and keep the poor slaving. Capitalism is sick!

 

March 25, 2009 24 hour;  1) 100,000 jobs need to be filled! Ya right. University degreed individuals needed to fill created work so that Ontario can have a better chance in the Economic Wars!

2) Beijing suggests unified world currency! I agree 100%. One only Government as well! Equal distribution of wealth, work and responsibilities as well! Too many get to sit on their asses all of their lives at the expense of others, other species and ecosystems health and even life.

April 14, 2009 Toronto Star;   Mental toll on soldiers skyrockets. They always like to talk about post-tramatic stress or other psychiatric problems because of  Military action. Could or should we not also apply these to the “Economic Wars”? Why not, as they are in the long run the same symptoms and results. Where as those in the military some do or can get help while those from the other war are left out in the cold. I see myself as a victim of the Economic Wars. I worked physically hard all my life, always putting in between 90 and 100% effort in all my work and get just a pittance or fraction of what those who work at created work bring in. 

If  and when a person, 1) learns at an early age how to manipulate words, numbers or people (official education) and 2) follows the evolved rules like, never question the way things are then chances are that financial success will follow.  If for some reason, either, psychological, mental or physical reasons one cannot or does not perfect any of those manipulations then he/she may be doomed/destined to a life of slavery for the sake of using the proper word.

April 20, 2009 Metro;1) If the bees disappear, we’ll all be stung.  As some places they are disappearing and others they are increasing. Man made chemicals and uni cultures are mostly to blame.

2)  Hey Buddy, who loves you?  In the Health & Fitness section/page. I wonder, does anyone love me! I want to be loved by at least 1,000 and think in my mind that I could return the same. The article was about some movie. What I write here is not!  I would like to be loved for my mind, heart, intents, vision, plans, determination and faith and not the usual, monetary wealth, physical appearance, writing skills or manhood size. That which are taught indirectly as important by our evolved ways of this sick society.

 

April 22, 2009 Metro; 1) Agreement will put limits on tourism in Antarctica.  Funny, that came out a few days after I commented on an MSN (I think) article online. They showed a map of the world and places of must see before they disappear. This was leading up to Earth Day. My comment was, why are you showing the wealthy people or those with extra income places to travel to. To encourage trips like this is helping these places get destroyed. Fly, fly, fly was the message, it is okay to do so.

2)  More plastic then plankton. Our oceans are covered with patches of plastic garbage as big as a continent.  A good reason to that stop the industry altogether. Sea and land animals are dying at an alarming rate because of these products. Ocean turtles, cattle in India, and probably even the squirrels and raccoons here in my hood as I see half eaten plastic bags all over the place. OOPS Governments cannot question the Free Market or the production of plastics. Besides or because it would hurt the economy!

 

May 5, 2009 24 hour;  Embarrassed Italian PM demands apology from wife.   The 72 year-old PM was caught flirting with an aspiring 18 year old model. He knows what the real gold is on this planet! Just saw again the ( most of  it) movie “The Candidate” (babes available), as well how could I/we forget Mr. Clinton’s famous line “I did not have sex” in the “Oral Office” scandal. I the pretend and/or wanna bee politician also want to participate in this type of freedom/reward.  I feel that I’ve been short changed enough in my lifetime by the have. I would like it to my turn!  The wealthy and/or famous and/or best liars/bull shiters and/or spoiled and/or most endowed and/or most forceful and/or most manipulative, get the newest ready next girls way more easily then the average good, honest, or big hearted person.

‘Tis what my seductions are all about. Being seen as worth loving by many a young ones, those who will be the leaders of tomorrow. My epqnuns, epqmodels, epqpolice and GreenNuns will always be beautiful on the inside if they care as much as I do about all life on this planet.
